Acoustic pop worship is the name of the game for Jason Ingram, the first signee to Sonicflood's new Resonate Records. No stranger to Christian Music, Ingram previously released an album under the group name of Jason Ingram Band (JIB), which produced a CHR radio hit, and Ingram himself more recently co-wrote the title track to Sonicflood's new album, Resonate.

All of the songs are written from Ingram's perspective, as he comments on the greatness of God in various ways or cries out for God's perfect touch. Ingram is a fine songwriter, and his worship songs are all very sincere and heartfelt. His ministry dreams are big, and he seems to have his heart in the right place. With production from John Lawry, John Jaszcz, and Randy Williams, Jason Ingram is an album that obviously holds great personal significance to Ingram himself, with crisp grooves and passionate lyrics. Its highest points are mostly the ballads, especially "You Are Worthy" and "Call My Name."
