Possibly one of the most lyrically moving and touching albums of the last several years, Without Condition is a premiere album in so many different aspects - musically, lyrically, and spiritually. The songs are a tapestry of honest spirituality, with all the struggles, longings, and joys that are a part of any true Christian's experience. And although it is set forth through the eyes of a young woman who has been blind since childhood, it rings acutely true nonetheless. Having won the Best New Artist Dove Award as a result of this album, Without Condition validates this type of music that is excellent, yet is not packaged in a bunch of slick production. Hopefully it will spawn a whole lot more.
