After being forced to endure more industry politics and contractual fighting than should be legally allowed, L.A. Symphony has finally emerged from the ashes to make its full-fledged label debut, The End Is Now.
The End Is Now is the album that fans have been waiting for, for a long time. Now down to five primary members -- Flynn, Cookbook, Sharlok Poems, Uno Mas, and Joey the Jerk -- L.A. Symphony redefines itself a bit on this new disc. Everything you've come to love about the group is still here -- organic beats, thoughtful and original rhymes, and confident, groove-heavy production -- but you'll also find a new layer of urgency and insight.
L.A. Symphony has that rare ability to know when to stop mixing additional layers to its beats -- when too much is too much and not enough is not enough. This gives their rhythms a freshness and a confidence that few can boast.
